Today we participated in a team building event that tested our different levels of trust, communication and personal knowledge of each other.
We went to Oleta River State Park with the intention to get to know each other better and well it was a success.

We stated as 8 dry folks and ended with 6 dry folks.... Can you quess who ended up in the river.... Jerry, Rick, Debbie, Anthony, Cathy, Asusena, Betty and myself. as you can see from the photo we were ready for anything that the day brought.

As we continue our preparation path towards El Tamarindo Mission trip in September 2009 we have had a few meeting so far, and we are planning to have a TEAM BUILDER on Friday July 3,2009.
The team will be participating in a canoe trip and cook out at the Oleta River State Park in North Miami. ( I am excited about the adventure & I hope you are too )This promises to be a fun and productive event.

As I a prepare for my Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic this summer with Riverside Baptist Church and Food For The Hungry, I will need your prayers of support and help, more so now with the Swine Flu Pandemic spreading like wildfire throughout our hemisphere. As you probably know by now we had our testimonies at Sunday service on April 26, 2009 we also hosted a simple soup and bread lunch at the fellowship hall after for the congregation. It was a great success by the way...
